Children in preschool spend their days exploring, sharing, playing and learning. Preschool aged children are in the process of becoming confident learners. The children's activities are based on age-appropriate practices and state standards grounded in early childhood fundamentals. They are beginning to recognize their own name and other letters in print and show a genuine interest in language experiences.

We take their confidence to the next level with hands-on education. Your child is ready for structured learning activities that touch on early literacy, math, science and social studies. Your young learner will increase their language ability, practice early counting skills and learn to cooperate with friends through group activities.
​They will take on greater physical challenges and begin to communicate more effectively with adults. 
​Our program balances these subjects with opportunities for independent exploration and a healthy dose of running, jumping and dancing. 
Be prepared for an impromptu performance if you drop by during the day. We're eager to share your child's new experiences with you.

Our curriculum and assessments align with the WA State Early Learning Standards and the Teaching Strategies Gold Objectives. We have partnered with the Highline School District to ensure that our Pre-K students build on their success, exceed expectations and transition smoothly into Kindergarten.

"I Like My School," says Evelyn in Pre-Kindergarten

"We feel so blessed to have our daughter Evelyn in the Pre-K program at Beautiful Savior. Her favorite part of the day is the morning circle/Jesus Time, where she sings songs of praise with a huge smile on her face. She comes home from school full of stories to tell her younger sister. She loves sharing everything from her day, including the Bible stories she's learning, what she did with her friends, and what topic she is researching with her class.

The other week she excitedly told us all about how she and her classmates had turned the classroom "hospital" that they had created during their study on germs, into a "petting zoo" for their study on animals and habitats.

We know that the education she is receiving at Beautiful Savior is outstanding, and that she will be fully prepared for kindergarten and beyond.

Furthermore, we know that the firmly established love of learning that is being fostered at Beautiful Savior will stay with her for a lifetime.
