At Beautiful Savior, We believe...
- Jesus is the Christ, Son of God, and He alone is the Savior of the world. (Matthew 3:17, 1 Timothy 1:15)
- All followers of Jesus Christ, have been called to share this truth with everyone. (Matthew 28:19-20)
- There is only one true triune God, who reveals himself in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17, John 10:30, John 14:26, 1 John 5:20)
- All men are sinful, which separates us from God. There is nothing in us that can save us. (Romans 3:23, James 2:10)
- It is through God’s abundant love and grace, not because of our works that Jesus Christ has saved all sinners. This costly gift is free to those who believe he is our Savior. (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-10)
- The entire inerrant Bible is the inspired Word of God and the sole source of our faith in Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
- The truth confessed in the three universal Christian creeds - The Apostle’s, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds.
- That the Word of God is accurately summarized and explained by the writings contained in the Book of Concord.

Lutheran Heritage - Grace, Faith, and Scripture
This simply is a call to the Christian faith. It means that we accept the scriptural truths that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century and led to a renewed focus on the Gospel.
A summary of these truths is in the Three Solas- By Grace Alone, Through Faith Alone, In Scripture Alone. As the result, we place our faith and trust in the mystery of God's love: that man is saved purely by God's grace through faith alone, apart from works.
Grace Alone
Only by God’s grace, by His steadfast love, compassion, and forgiveness can we find new and everlasting life. The Bible teaches that we are saved from sin, death, and everlasting condemnation only by God’s grace. (Ephesians 2:8-10.)
Faith Alone
Faith is the only byway in which we can receive God’s gifts of grace. Faith is trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and is created and sustained by God working through his Word, through Baptism, and through the Lord’s Supper.
Scripture Alone
The writings of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the only rule and norm by which all doctrines and teachers are measured and judged (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
